The Deluge

The Cataclysm didn't affect us directly.

We heard it. We saw it arrive from space.

But for one whole day nothing happened.

We began to rejoice but cautious. We continued our usual ways.

But we were wrong. The arrival did mean distruction.

Screaming black waters rushed across the world. Destorying everything in its path.

Only few survived. Those that managed to find the highest of grounds, caverns, and the seafarers who rode the wave. People thought the temples would be safe, but so many were destroyed and buried. Maybe some have survived.

The world was changed. The landscape was rewritten. What were once forests and dense jungles became deserts. Rich wildlands became swamps. Mountains shaven down to rolling hills.
